Why a Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case matters in 2026
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is a 6.8-inch device with a large glass front and a protruding camera cluster, and both of those are expensive to repair. A modern screen replacement often costs a meaningful share of what the phone is worth. A Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case is the cheapest insurance policy available for that hardware.
The phone carries its own IP rating from the factory, but that rating is not designed to survive years of port wear, sand, and pressure washing. A dedicated Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case adds a second sealed barrier around the whole device. The Galaxy S24 Ultra Waterproof Case is built for that job.
Gorilla Cases has spent years shipping cases to customers who work outdoors, and the pattern is consistent. Water and dust destroy more charging ports than drops destroy screens. That is why this Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case leads with a sealed enclosure that keeps water and dust out entirely.
10 key features of this Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case

- A built-in screen membrane that keeps water out while preserving touch response
- Sealed port doors for charging and audio that lock flush against the frame
- IP68 submersion sealing rated to 6.6 feet for up to 30 minutes in fresh water
- A snap-and-latch closure with an audible click at every corner so you can verify the seal
- Camera glass over the rear lens window that stays optically clear underwater
- Wireless charging support through the sealed back panel
- A raised bezel that protects the screen membrane from abrasion when set face down
- Lanyard loops so the phone can be tethered on a boat or a kayak
- Full dust exclusion, which matters as much at the beach as it does at a job site

Who this Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case is for
This Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case is aimed squarely at boaters, kayakers, and paddle-board riders. It is also a strong fit for poolside families and beach regulars.
Beyond that, the waterproof case suits landscapers, roofers, and anyone working in rain, plus snow sport riders who deal with melt and slush all day. If none of those describe you, browse the full Galaxy S24 Ultra Cases collection and compare profiles before deciding.

An illustrative use scenario
Here is a hypothetical example rather than a verified customer review. Picture a charter captain who keeps a Galaxy S24 Ultra on the console from dawn until the last run of the day, surrounded by spray, sunscreen, and wet hands.
Water is not an occasional risk in that setting, it is the working environment. A splash-resistant shell buys a few weeks before the charging port corrodes. A Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case built to MIL-STD-810G shock testing alongside the submersion rating is the category that actually holds up.
The point of the example is the use pattern, not a testimonial. Match the case category to how the phone actually gets used, and the buying decision gets simple.
Protection tips for your Galaxy S24 Ultra
- Run the empty case through a water test before trusting it with the phone
- Inspect the gasket for sand or hair every single time you close the shell
- Rinse the case in fresh water after ocean or pool use so salt and chlorine do not degrade the seal
- Do not open the case with wet hands, because a single drop on the gasket line can wick inside
- Store the case unlatched during long breaks so the gasket does not take a compression set
- Replace the case if the gasket looks glazed, cracked, or flattened
- Keep the port doors closed even on dry days so grit never reaches the seal
Pair your Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case with matching Gorilla Cases protection.
What is in the box plus installation
Every Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case ships with the case itself, a fitted microfiber cleaning cloth, and printed install instructions. Configurations with a screen membrane or lanyard include those parts in the same box.
- Power the Galaxy S24 Ultra down and wipe the frame and back with the included cloth.
- Seat the phone in the rear shell and align the camera cutout to the lens cluster.
- Close the front half and press each corner until you hear a click on all four.
- Run a finger along the full perimeter and confirm the gasket line is fully seated.
- Test every button and the speaker before you walk away.
- Confirm wireless charging works on your usual pad or puck.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the best Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case for 2026?
For most buyers, yes. The best Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case 2026 shoppers settle on is the one that pairs a fully sealed enclosure with cutouts molded for this exact model. Gorilla Cases builds this Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case around that combination rather than around a universal mold.
My phone is already IP68, so why add a case?
Factory ratings assume a new device with undamaged seals and no port wear. A Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case adds an external barrier that also blocks sand, salt, and abrasion, which is what actually degrades the phone seal over time.
Does the Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case support wireless charging?
Yes. It passes wireless power through the sealed back panel, so there is no need to open the shell for a nightly charge. Keep the back panel clear of metal plates or card stacks.
What materials are used in this waterproof case?
This waterproof case uses a gasketed two-piece shell with a factory-installed screen membrane. Gasket quality matters more than color, because the rubber compound determines how the Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case seals after a year of use.
Will the Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case fit other models?
No. A sealed case depends on exact dimensions, so a Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case should only be used on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Ordering by exact model is the single most reliable way to avoid a return.
How thick is the Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case?
Expect roughly 2.3 mm to 3.5 mm of added thickness depending on configuration. The raised screen lip sits near 1.5 mm and the camera bezel near 1.2 mm, and those two numbers are what actually protect glass.
Does it work with the S Pen?
Sealed enclosures cover the S Pen slot, so the pen has to be removed before the case is closed. If daily S Pen access is essential, a rugged open-port case is the better category.
Is there dust protection on this Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case?
Yes. IP68 sealing includes complete dust exclusion. Dust is the quiet killer of charging ports, so that rating matters as much at a job site as it does at the beach.
How do I clean the Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case?
Rinse the closed shell in fresh water, then open it, dry both halves, and wipe the gasket with a clean cloth. Skip alcohol wipes and solvents, because they degrade rubber and can craze polycarbonate.
Can I use a screen protector with this waterproof case?
The built-in screen membrane replaces a separate protector. Adding tempered glass underneath can interfere with the seal, so use the membrane the case ships with.
How long should a waterproof case last?
Plan on 12 to 24 months of daily use. Gaskets take a permanent compression set over time, and a Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case with a flattened gasket no longer seals like a new one.
What is the return policy on the Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case?
Gorilla Cases offers a 30-day exchange policy on every case. If the fit is not right on your Galaxy S24 Ultra, contact the team and swap it.
Does Gorilla Cases ship free within the United States?
Yes. Free US shipping applies to every order, including a single Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case. Orders ship from Gorilla Cases LLC in Alliance, Ohio.
Is there a discount code available?
Yes. Use code 10OFF at checkout on gorillacasestore.com for 10 percent off, and it applies to this Galaxy S24 Ultra waterproof case.
How do I reach customer service?
Email info@gorillacasestore.com or call 978-797-0223. That is the only customer service phone number for Gorilla Cases.
