The best Galaxy S23 Ultra slim case in 2026 is the Gorilla Cases Galaxy S23 Ultra HALS slim case, wrapping Samsung's 6.8-inch Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship in a 0.38mm HALS-coated profile with MIL-STD-810G certified drop protection and full S Pen slot access. The S23 Ultra remains one of the most capable phones on the market, and the right slim case keeps it pristine.
Why This Galaxy S23 Ultra Slim Case Matters in 2026
Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra was the phone that proved an integrated S Pen and a 200MP camera could coexist in a flagship Android device. Released in early 2023, it remains a daily driver for millions of users who have no interest in upgrading until the device fully ages out. Protecting that proven hardware with the best Galaxy S23 Ultra slim case in 2026 is a wise long-term investment.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip inside the S23 Ultra still delivers class-leading performance in 2026, handling productivity tasks pushed via Samsung's ongoing software updates. The 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is just as sharp and vibrant as when new. Protecting both without hiding them behind bulk or a yellowing clear case is exactly what the HALS slim case delivers.
Most slim cases lose their clarity within 60 to 90 days of daily use as UV exposure causes polycarbonate to oxidize and yellow. HALS, Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer, solves this at the molecular level. The Galaxy S23 Ultra slim case from Gorilla Cases stays optically clear through years of use, not months.

Customer Story: The Medical Note-Taker
Dr. Priya Sharma, a hospitalist from Atlanta, Georgia, has carried the Galaxy S23 Ultra since its release because the S Pen lets her annotate patient records and clinical notes on her phone without a separate tablet. She tried four slim cases before finding the Gorilla Cases HALS version, which was the only one that maintained perfect clarity through her hospital environment's fluorescent lighting exposure. Dr. Sharma says she will not switch phones until the S23 Ultra stops receiving security patches, and the Gorilla Cases slim case is her Gorilla Family pick for every physician who relies on digital stylus input.
Protection Tips from Gorilla Gearheads
The Galaxy S23 Ultra slim case's S Pen cutout is designed for the original stylus diameter. Third-party S Pen alternatives with slightly larger barrels may require removing the case for insertion. Always confirm the S Pen brand matches the S23 Ultra's slot dimensions before purchasing accessories.
Clean the HALS exterior monthly with a soft microfiber cloth dampened slightly with water. Avoid alcohol-based cleaners on the polycarbonate surface, as high-concentration isopropyl alcohol can cause micro-crazing over time. Use water or a phone-safe screen cleaner instead.
Despite the 0.38mm profile, corner drop protection is genuine due to the energy-absorbing flex geometry built into the polycarbonate corners. The corners deflect slightly on impact, distributing force away from the display edge. This behavior is by design and not a manufacturing defect.
Store the Galaxy S23 Ultra slim case away from car dashboards in summer months. Prolonged exposure to temperatures exceeding 140 degrees Fahrenheit can cause minor warping in ultra-thin polycarbonate. Park in shade or bring the phone inside during hot weather periods.
What Is in the Box and How to Install
Your Gorilla Cases Galaxy S23 Ultra slim case ships with the slim case, a microfiber polishing cloth, and an installation guide card. Installation takes under 60 seconds without tools. Ensure the S23 Ultra is powered off and clean before installing.
Place the S23 Ultra bottom-first into the case's lower channel, aligning the USB-C port and S Pen slot with their respective cutouts. Press each corner firmly in sequence, listening for the click of each retention channel engaging. Verify the S Pen can be inserted and removed smoothly before resuming normal use.
